Jesse and Carolina Aguilar

Jesse Aguilar is a Marine Veteran who served with 1 Battalion 1 Marines Alpha Company from 2005-2009. He went on 2 Combat Deployments to Iraq as an Infantryman, where he was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received from a Suicide Vehicle Bourne Improvised Explosive Device (SVBIED) while conducting combat operations. Jesse and Carolina know first-hand, the struggles and stresses of separation through service or medical care, and the importance of family through military service transitions or deployments.
